The Pharmaceutics Department at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of paramedical Sciences College of Pharmacy , Coimbatore was established in 1983. At the Department of Pharmaceutics, we are at the forefront of advancing pharmaceutical science and technology to improve human health and well-being. Our mission is to conduct cutting-edge research, provide exceptional education and training, and foster innovation in drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical formulations. There are around 8 Ph.D., and 212 M.Pharm who have graduated from the Department.

Highlights of the Department:

Our esteemed faculty members are accomplished experts in various fields of pharmaceutics, with diverse research interests and extensive industry experience. We focus on developing novel drug delivery systems that enhance drug efficacy, reduce side effects, and enable personalized medicine approaches. Our ongoing research projects encompass various areas, including nanotechnology, pharmacokinetic interaction studies, liposomes, microspheres, and targeted drug delivery among others.

The Pharmaceutics Department offers a range of comprehensive academic programs tailored to meet the needs of aspiring pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists. Our undergraduate program provides students with a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, drug formulation, and drug delivery systems. For postgraduate students, we offer specialized programs, providing in-depth knowledge and research opportunities in various areas of pharmaceutics. The scope of pharmaceutics is vast and covers a broad range of disciplines and applications that are essential for the development, manufacturing, and effective use of pharmaceutical products to improve human health.
