To acquire knowledge from various medical systems and to create a systematic approach to medical sciences, the College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences was established in the year 1987. It is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G. R. Medical University, Chennai. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the AICTE, New Delhi. The college offers D.Pharm., B.Pharm., M.Pharm., Pharm. D (Regular and Post Baccalaureate) and Doctorate Programmes.

The academic excellence had always been outstanding, exemplified by more than 40 gold medals bagged at University Level and one gold medal at National Level. The pass percentage has always been more than 95%.
